The Dragon Bearings offer a Labyrinth Seal (vs regular rubber seal on Reds) on outer side of the bearing to keep 50% more dirt and gunk out, thus reducing maintenance. Dragon Bearings also come with built in spacers and speed rings for easy installation and less moving parts.
The built-in bearings in the Dragon range have less moving parts (vs opting for separate bearings, spacers and speed rings), and therefore reduce the risk of gunk and debris entering the bearing from the back side, eliminating the need for a seal on the back of the bearing.
